# KlassApp Landing Page — Content, FINAL (v4)

*All open flags resolved. This is the locked content to implement.*

## Tagline

**Kicker:** Open-source agentic school protocol **Tagline:** The school platform that operates in the tools educationists already use.

## Pillars (Secure / Scalable / Private / Interoperable / Provable)

**Section heading:** Built the way real infrastructure should be

**Secure** Your school's data is protected by design, not by promise. Access controls are built into the platform itself, not added as an afterthought.

**Scalable** KlassApp runs on modern cloud infrastructure that grows with your school, from a single classroom to an entire district, without anyone having to manage a server.

**Private** Parents see only their own children. Teachers see only the students in their own classes. These are not settings you have to configure. They are the platform primitives.

**Interoperable** KlassApp connects to the tools your community already uses: WhatsApp, Drive, Slack. No need to learn new tools.

**Provable** *(stated as real forward direction, not a shipped feature — must be worded so it reads as a genuine commitment, not a claim of something live today)* Student records are recorded progressively, term by term, year by year. We're building toward records that are cryptographically provable, so a transcript can be verified as authentic without anyone having to take our word for it.

## Community

**Section heading:** Built in the open, so it grows with what your school needs

KlassApp's code is public today. Before we launch widely, we're closing it briefly for an independent security review.

It will be free, open, and self-hostable: you'll be able to read the source code, and if you want, run your own copy of KlassApp yourself.

We built KlassApp first for the hardest real-world constraints: limited bandwidth, everyday phones, real classrooms. If it works there, it works anywhere schools need it.

## Comparison

**Section heading:** What we actually address

| Before                                                               | KlassApp way                                                                                    |
| -------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Fee reminders mean phone calls and follow-up visits | Automated reminders on WhatsApp, email, or Telegram, whichever channel your parents already use |
| Report cards are printed and sent home, sometimes lost along the way | Parents get results the moment marks are finalized, on their connected channels |
| Setting up a new term means days of spreadsheet work | A guided setup configures classes and streams in minutes, through any connected channel |
| Every setup step means filling out forms, one field at a time | Just tell Toshi what you need, in plain language, and it does the rest |

## FAQ (unchanged from v2)

**Do parents need to download an app?** No. Everything works through WhatsApp, a tool most families already use every day.

**What if our school doesn't have separate class streams?** KlassApp works the same way whether your school has one class per grade or several streams. Streams are entirely optional.

**Is our students' data safe?** Yes. Access is limited by design. Parents see only their own children, teachers see only their own students.

**Can we try it before committing?** Yes. KlassApp has a free tier so you can set up your school and see how it works before choosing a paid plan.

## Notes for implementation

* No AI-style em dashes anywhere.
* Pricing not shown on this page.
* README needs a parallel update: remove the explicit "Q1 2027" date, replace with the same "free, open, self-hostable, no date stated" framing used here.
* Comparison table content is illustrative of real product capability, not sourced from a named real school — flag if used before real data replaces it.
* Provable pillar must read as genuine direction/commitment, not an existing feature — same honest framing discipline as everything else on this page.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://klassdocs.gitbook.io/klassapp-documentation/docs/klassapp-landing-content-final-v4.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
