## Sign up and confirm email

Create the school admin login, then confirm the email address. The full path, including invites, is [Get started](https://github.com/KlassApp-Foundation/KlassApp/tree/main/help/getting-started/README.md).

### When sign-up is open

Open register on [klassapp.xyz](https://klassapp.xyz). The heading is **Create your KlassApp account**.

Enter **Your Full Name**, **Email Address**, and **Phone (WhatsApp)**. Set a password and confirm it. Tick **I agree to Terms and Conditions**.

Choose Create account with password.

Continue with Google creates the same login with your Google account. It does not connect Google Drive or Classroom.

The next heading is **Check your email**. Tap **Confirm email** in the message, or enter the **6-digit code** and choose Confirm email.

No message? Check spam, then choose Resend.

You land on the dashboard. Choose **Set up manually** on the **Finish school setup** banner, or follow [Onboarding paths](https://github.com/KlassApp-Foundation/KlassApp/tree/main/help/admins/onboarding/README.md).

### When sign-up is closed

Register shows **Request early access**. Send the form. An invite email follows if a platform admin approves it. The button in that email is **Set up your school**.

::: tip The phone field checks the number. If your number is rejected, say so on the early-access form. :::

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://klassdocs.gitbook.io/klassapp-documentation/docs-site/help/signup.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
